I am a mother to a preemie princess born in March 2009 and a Mama’s boy born in December 2012. I am the one person that if you don't want a truthful answer...don't ask me the question. Yes, I will tell you...you look fat in that dress, no..those shoes don't go well with that belt...or don't bother buying that baby product because you'll never use it! It’s funny sometimes…. I read to my almost 16 month old every day in one form or another. She loves books…and is starting to remember and say back her colours..and animals... numbers…and letters..not there just quite yet. I’ve been having problems with my toddler actually eating… she’s still on formula for a few more months and I think that it’s the culprit when it comes to meal time. We use to give her a bottle while she eats as a drink because she wouldn’t use a sippy cup. Wow… I’m either losing my mind or my x-baby brain is somehow getting worse. So… my daughter wants soooo badly to do everything herself...but she just can’t. She doesn’t crawl or walk...she “scoots”. Ok…Is it just me? My daughter is almost 15 months old… she fits in 6-12 and 12-18 month at 2 stores. Another store she fits into 6-9m, another is 6-12, one is 1T, another is 3-6m and she even still fits in a 0-3 month hoodie from another brand. Like Really??? Being a Mother of a preemie is sometimes difficult. Obviously, the numerous weeks she was in the NICU were unbearable… but really… I survived. The hard part was and continues to be the number of “extra” appointments she needs to go to. I remember it felt like she was at a different appointment almost every week. From the Cardiologist, to the Paediatrician, the Family Doctor…Eye Doctor… Occupational Therapist… like really. Who has...

A few of my friends have asked me why all of a sudden I decided to start a blog. In all honesty, I don't know.
