Mummy Madness

I got married and had two children all in 3 years. My son, also my first child, was born with a health condition that required surgery and we spent our first 6 weeks of parenthood in a NICU at a children’s hospital. I began to realize that I had the ability to help others who were struggling with their journey in parenthood. As parents, we all have moments where we aren't sure what we are doing. I continue to write and share my experiences in hopes that I can help part the clouds for someone who is struggling.

Smoothie Bowls

Being Nice or just plain Nosey?

I've dealt with it before. Back to almost five years ago, just after our miscarriage. All of our friends were having babies and my husband and I were asked constantly when we planned on having a little one of our own? Little did they know that I was healing physically, emotionally and mentally at that very moment. And every time someone felt the need to be informed about our current situation, my delicate, freshly healed wounds would be...

Baby Crying Patterns

Babies often cry, and at times to the point where parents become worried and upset. The good news is that crying during the first few months of life is common and part of a baby’s normal development. However, even after a checkup from the doctor...
