Celebrity Parents Reveal Halloween Plans

Happy Halloween from Celebrity Baby Scoop!

On today’s spook-tacular holiday, we’re taking a look at celebrity families and their fun plans. From Halle Berry‘s night of trick-or-treating with daughter Nahla, to Snooki‘s first Halloween with baby Lorenzo, let’s highlight some high-profile families and their festive plans.

◦   Halle Berry:

This Halloween, Oscar-winner Halle Berry plans to get dressed up and take her daughter Nahla, 4, trick-or-treating.

“You wanna know what I am this year? I am a cupcake,” Halle revealed during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

She added: “I am a cupcake by day and then I’m a different costume by night. After she goes to bed, I go out for my adult Halloween and I get dressed up like a mummy… every part of my body is covered except for my eyes.”

But don’t expect Nahla to suffer from a candy-overload.

“I don’t let her keep the candy,” Halle revealed. “It’s too much! What kid needs a bag load of candy?”

◦   Scott Baio:

See Dad Run star Scott Baio and wife Renee have big plans for their daughter Bailey, nearly 5, this Halloween.

“Bailey got a witch Minnie Mouse costume that has orange and black polka dots, and we will go trick-or-treating up in our neighborhood,” Scott recently told Celebrity Baby Scoop. “There are hundreds of kids that come up here, so it is a lot of fun.”

◦   Kristi Yamaguchi:

Olympic figure skating champion Kristi Yamaguchi recently opened up to Celebrity Baby Scoop about her Halloween plans with “girly girl” daughters Keara, 8, and Emma, 6.

“Emma is going to be Hermione and Keara is going to be a pirate,” Kristi shared. “They want my husband, Bret [Hedican] to be Hagrid from Harry Potter and they want me to be Professor McGonagall but I’ll probably just be a witch.”

◦   The Guncles:

Reality TV dads Bill Horn and Scout Masterson (a.k.a. The Guncles) and their 2-year-old daughterSimone are getting into the Halloween spirit with BFFs Tori Spelling, Dean McDermott and their four kids.

“We’re sticking with tradition. We’re attending “Dream Halloween” benefitting Keep A Child Alive and then on Halloween we always spend the evening with Tori, Dean and Family,” the reality stars told Celebrity Baby Scoop. “We all dress up and go trick or treating. Will be especially fun this year because Simone is older and is in the Halloween spirit – big time!”

◦   Christie Lynn Smith:

An expectant Christie Lynn Smith opened up to Celebrity Baby Scoop about going trick-or-treating with her 4-year-old daughter Abby – and dressing up her baby bump.

“Abby loves to dress up, so yes, she is excited about Halloween,” the General Hospital star shared. “She wants to be Dorothy from Wizard of Oz this year. It’s super cute, she has the little basket for Toto as well. We are going to go trick-0r-treating with one of her pre-school friends. And I’m trying to come up with a costume that will incorporate my 7- month belly. Maybe I can be a gumball machine or my belly can be a fish tank.”

◦   Samantha Harris:

Former Dancing with the Stars co-host and Entertainment Tonight correspondent, Samantha Harris, opened up to Celebrity Baby Scoop about getting crafty with daughters Josselyn, 5, and Hillary, 1 1/2, this Halloween season.

“We actually just started to decorate the house, and we are going to be doing my first decoupaging,” Samantha said. “I had never heard of decoupage before, and it is basically a fancy word for gluing things on other things. I bought some fake pumpkins and butterfly paper that has a black background with different multi-colored butterflies. I also bought some pink paper and Mod Page, which is a special kind of glue that has sparkle in it. You basically glue the paper on the pumpkin, and the glue makes it look like a fancy paper mache-wrapped pumpkin. I also bought fancy ribbon in glittery green and orange with little bats. We are going to glue all the things on the pumpkins and make some of our own decorations.”

◦   Snooki:

New mom Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi recently appeared on the Today show alongside fiancé Jionni LaValle and revealed their holiday plans with newborn son Lorenzo.

“I’m going to be Wonder Woman. He’s going to be Captain America and Lorenzo’s going to be Superman,” Snooki shared.

But don’t expect to see Snooki hitting up the party scene this Halloween. She said her life is “totally different” and added, “I definitely partied for, like, three people for my entire life, so I feel like, I have a family, I have a baby now, and I feel like I have a new chapter now. I love it.”
