Blogging after Baby Time
Oh Baby! Magazine was an exhibitor at the Baby Time Show here in Toronto this past weekend. We had so much fun. We spoke to a lot of people. We gave away some great prizes from Graco & Fisher Price and we saw a LOT of baby bumps.
I saw so many pregnant women and so many teeny tiny babies there that if I wasn’t absolutely sure that I didn’t want to have more children, it would have turned into a baby-making weekend for me.
My kids spent the weekend at my mom’s place so that I could work the show with a couple of good nights of sleep. By the time Sunday came around I missed my kiddies quite a bit. I was missing smiles, kisses and hugs. I was missing laughter and silliness. I felt bad that they weren’t there with me to see Fifi and the Flower Tots, Barney and Angelina Ballerina (great entertainment this year).
Sunday night at seven was when I finally walked through my front door – exhausted, and a little bit ill – and there they were. Greeting me with squeals, laughter, hugs, kisses and big smiles. That was THE best feeling ever.
This is why I had babies.
I didn’t come home empty handed. The folks at Kickboard Canada gave me two of these awesome Micro of Switzerland Kick brand scooters for my kiddies to try out:

My daughter was ecstatic that there was one for her and one for her brother. They LOVE these little scooters! Now instead of walking to and from daycare – they scoot!!! This is my new favourite product! My only challenge is making sure that my daughter keeps her helmet on properly!
If you would like a chance to win one of these awesome scooters for your little one stay tuned, we’re going to be giving one away!
Disclaimer: I wasn’t paid to tell you this… I really love these scooters!!! Make sure your child is wearing their helmet PROPERLY, and please let me know how you convince them to keep it on.
