They’re Just Clothes…Right?

With two 18 month old girls, we’ve gathered a lot of clothing in ouCheap Pandora Australia Saler house.  Bins, bins and more bins…not a good thing to have when you have a hubby who doesn’t like clutter.

True, the clothes are all very organized in their big rubbermaid bins but they’re just taking up way too much space in our home.

So I was given the task of selling everything from itty bitty booties to fancy frilly dresses. Something that should be a simple task of organizing, snapping a picture and arranging a pickup right? What I didn’t consider was the emotional attachment I would have to pieces of fabric!

I ended up putting some key items into the girls’ memory bins; the first preemie Pandora Glass Beads another clothes they ever wore, the outfits they wore home from the hospital, their first teeny bathing suits, etc.

After the special items were safely put away I started researching Multiples Sales in the area. Unfortunately none of the dates worked for us so I started posting items on mommy buy/sell/trade groups.

I received quite the response for the items and was so happy to be able to help other parents. When it comes to preemie clothes, they’re difficult to find and not cheap. So I was so happy to be able to sell almost all of my preemie outfits for a fraction of the price, while also helping other parents who are in the same boat that we were in just a year and a half ago.

I still have a few bins that I need to try and sell so I’ve registered for a local Mom to Mom sale. It’s going to be a lot of work; organizing and labelling, but I’m excited for it. Fingers crossed that I end up selling more than I buy at the sale.
