Give thanks for less time in the kitchen

If you are hosting Thanksgiving this year, SupperWorks can help with these fun time saving tips.

1. Plan ahead. Make a list of everything you need from tablecloths and napkins, to drinks and food. Spend a bit of time each day gathering the things you need. If you think you have everything at home already, pull it all out and get it cleaned off so you aren’t stressing the day of the party.

2. Rent Rent Rent. If you are having a big group, a great time saving tip is to rent your silverware, plates and glasses. You can often give the dishes back dirty saving you the clean up. Trust us, it’s worth it.

3. Keep the kids busy. A great activity for the kids on Thanksgiving is to get them to write a list or draw pictures of all the things they are thankful for. Try challenging them to list of 100 things. You can even make the list decorative and post in on your fridge so you remember it everyday.

4. Take the work out of supper. A home made meal is a home made meal. Let us help you out with our Thanksgiving Dinner Package. A delicious and nutritious feast including Roast Turkey Breast with Cranberry Sauce, Old Fashioned Bread Stuffing, Maple-Crumble Mashed Sweet Potatoes, Yummy Peas with Crispy Onion Topping, Buttered Corn, Multi-Grain Rolls, Gravy, and Pumpkin Cheesecake Pie.
