No – never had that experience, but it sounds scarry! I often put on treehouse for my son so I can have a shower. Who knows what he’s seen that I’m not even aware of. After this, I think I’ll use my PVR to pre-screen episodes if I’m going to be in the shower and not whatching at the same time as him so I can change the channel if necessary

Funny that this happened, as one morning I had treehouse on this year not too long ago and a clip from “THE RING” movie was on! and then part of an interview!!!!!

I also saw this broadcast and immediatly changed the channel I was shocked horrified and very dissappionted in Treehouse. hoping my 3 and 2 year old never remember the short clip they were exposed to.

I too consider it ‘safe’ television but I now realize that there is no such thing which is so sad. My one son is over it (thankfully) but my autistic son will not allow treehouse to be turned on. I am hoping this doesn’t affect him over the Halloween season with all the scary costumes and such

Yep some other parents I have spoken to mentioned the clips from Ring and said it was awful! It is unbelievable that it has happened more than once. My one son freaks now whenever we attempt to put on treehouse.

Earlier in the summer scenes from The Ring appeared and it looked like an interview with Naomi Watts. This is probably the earlier incendent they mention. Thankfully my kids weren’t watching at the time and it did have the Treehouse logo at the bottom. I am shocked that it has happened more then once

I have not had that happen, and would have been as angry as you as I view this as a ‘safe’ television station. Treehouse is the only channel that my 4 yr old is allowed to watch unattended as I am quite careful what he gets exposed to. I am glad they apologized and implemented safeguards, however the damage is done when something like this happens. I hope your sons are able to get past what they saw soon. Maybe if you showed them a cutesy, funny vampire (I think Looney Toons had one) they may replace the funny one with the scary one in their head?
