She just turned a year old, and I&#039;ve maintained the 30 lbs and have lost another 20. It&#039;s definitley small steps to form healthy habits, but I think it&#039;s those small steps that will help for a successful future. 		<description><![CDATA[My name is Jennifer and I&#039;m in Brampton too. I&#039;ll be 35 in May. I&#039;m trying to lose weight also. I lost 25 pounds last spring and gained it back. Losing weight doesn&#039;t require a diet, it requires a permanent change in habit and lifestyle. My goal is to, for the most part, eat vegan. No dairy and no meat. Plant based diet. Seems drastic, but, in my opinion, from my research, it&#039;s the best way to go. Eat as much as you want and still lose weight. At the same time, you can cure and prevent many diseases such as diabetes and many forms of cancer etc. Read the China Study. Great book with in depth research. Dr. Neal Barnard and Dr McDougall are great leaders in the field. Even if you don&#039;t want to do it full time, try to incorporate plant-based recipes into your week as much as you can. It worked for me, I just didn&#039;t stick with it and I&#039;m just getting going again.]]></description>

If you are in to red meat did you know that Sobeys is carrying $5 sirloin tip roasts (650g) on a regular basis now?  One of those roasts is enough for two dinners for my husband and I - and the great thing is you season it and toss it in the oven and dinner is done!  I put it in a small roast dish, surround it with root veggies and baby potatoes that have been sliced in half and microwaved for 5 minutes first.  It is fast, easy and good for you (the roasts are incredibly lean).
