My daughter has two in her class, and I know of another in her school, all older then your child. I think that as parents we just become more aware of other people who have used the same, or a similar name, after we decide it “belongs” to our child. Lets be honest, this is the age of “original” names…and for that reason, nothing is actually original.

It just so happens that apparently it’s not a common name and we’ve only met one other Bruce so far. What we are hearing is surprise over choosing the name because people see it as a “manly” name. What’s so wrong with that?
