Smugglers’ Notch Contest Rules
This contest is open to residents of Canada aged 18 or older, except for employees, agents and representatives of Oh Baby! Magazine, their affiliates and advertising and promotional agencies, the suppliers of the prize(s), materials and services related to the current contest, as well as members of their immediate families (brothers, sisters, children, father, mother), their legal or de facto spouses and all persons with whom said employees, agents and representatives are domiciled. This contest is void in jurisdictions where prohibited by law.
To Enter
All entries must be accompanied by the entrant’s name, phone number valid e-mail address and mailing address.
Illegible, incomplete or late entries will be disqualified.
One entry per person, per day for the duration of the contest.
Entries must be submitted no later than 11:59pm EST on the last day of the contest period.
All entries may receive information about Smugglers’ Notch Resort via email or posted mail.
Prizing
Prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, substituted or redeemed for cash. Oh Baby! Magazine reserves the right, in its sole discretion to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
Winners
Winners will be contacted by email/telephone within five business days after draw. Upon notification, the winner must respond within 48 hours. If a winner does not respond or comply with contest rules, he/she will be disqualified and another winner will be selected. Oh Baby! Magazine is not responsible for the failure, for any reason whatsoever, of a winner to receive notification or for Oh Baby! Magazine to receive a winner’s response.
If the winner chooses to visit in the winter with their family, the Club Smugglers’ Classic Vacation prize includes: 5 days and 5 nights lodging in a two bedroom condominium; daily alpine lift tickets and cross-country/snowshoe trail passes for up to 4 members of his/her immediate family; unlimited use of the FunZone 2.0 Family Entertainment Center, indoor pool and hot tubs; 2 hour group lessons for ages 6-17 years and full-day ski or snowboard camp for ages 3-5 years; and TREASURES child care for ages 6 weeks – 3 years. This prize is valid for non-holiday (December 26, 2017 – January 1, 2018 and February 15-22, 2018) visits between December 6, 2017 – April 1, 2018 on a space available basis. The winner will be responsible for all transportation to and from the resort, meals and expenses, other than the items listed above. The winner of the prize must be present during the vacation. Details for making the reservation will be explained to the winner upon notification.
If the winner chooses to visit in the summer with their family, the Summer Vacation Prize includes 5 days and 5 nights accommodations in a two bedroom condominium, unlimited use of 8 pools and 4 waterslides, FamilyFest all-day camps for ages 3 – 17; use of resort amenities such as mini golf, disc golf, volleyball, basketball, and the FunZone 2.0 Famly Entertainment Center; and daily guided hiking treks and walking tours and is valid non-holiday between June 6, 2017 – September 1, 2017 on a space available basis. The winner will be responsible for all taxes due on prize and all transportation to and from the resort, meals and expenses, other than the items listed above. The winner of the prize must be present during the vacation. Details for making the reservation will be explained to the winner upon notification.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Winners may be featured on the Oh Baby! Magazine website following the contest deadline, may also be published in Oh Baby! Magazine and/or announced using social media (Twitter, Facebook, etc.).
If necessary, the Sponsor reserves the right to amend contest and/or contest rules at any time, for any reason and without notice.
Oh Baby! Magazine will not be responsible for the use and/or consumption of the products awarded in this contest. The winners may or may not use the products at their own discretion, if they so choose. Oh Baby! Magazine assumes no liability.
Travel must be completed by April 1, 2018.
The winner releases the contest organizer, its subsidiaries and affiliates, its advertising and promotion agencies, their employees, representatives and agents from any responsibility whatsoever for damages of any nature that could result from the acceptance or use of the prize.
The winner and his/her guests release the contest organizer, its subsidiaries, franchises, parent companies, affiliates, their employees, agents and representatives of any liability regarding any damage of any nature, including but not limited to, resulting from an accident, injury, death, loss or delay or loss of baggage or personal articles, delay, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, upset, disappointment, anxiety or frustration, whether physical or mental, that they could suffer as a result of accepting or using the prize. In order to be declared a winner, the person undertakes to sign a declaration form.
All decisions of the contest organizer and its representatives regarding this contest are final and binding, subject to any decision by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec in relation to matters under its jurisdiction.
For Quebec residents: Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal regulations.
Privacy
By entering the contest, entrants agree to Oh Baby! Magazine’s use of the entrants name, city of residence and province for the purpose of administering the contest and for advertising purposes. The entrant’s information will only be shared with the contest sponsor and not be disclosed to any third parties unless specified in the details of the contest.
