Father’s Day Gift Ideas

I don’t know about the rest of you but for some reason when it comes to special occasions in our family it’s either feast or famine. Meaning that, when we have one birthday we have at least four within that month. Same goes for other annual occasions, for example; Mother’s Day and my moms birthday fall within a month of each other. Same goes for Father’s Day; it falls just weeks ahead of my hubby’s birthday.

It’s not the cost that is the factor, it’s my lack of creativity…or at least I feel that way.

I’m sure my family thinks I’m very creative and considerate, but between you and I, it takes A LOT of extra thinking to figure out multiple meaningful gifts to the same person in such a short time span.

Last year I went with the simple, inexpensive custom photo of the girls with their daddy for Father’s Day. This year I’ve been on Pinterest a lot and have discovered some pretty cool and thoughtful gifts and I just had to share!

Here’s my top 10 list:

1) Customized daddy t-shirt —(Etsy) $30

2) Monogram Keychain — (Etsy) $20

3) Picture frame with kids holding letters/words (i.e.: Best. Daddy. Ever. D-A-D)—(DIY) the cost depends on where you find the individual letters and picture frame

4) A beer/pop can cake topped with lottery tickets— (DIY) dependent on type of beer/pop cans and amount of lottery tickets you choose

5) Daddy mug— (DIY) make it with some sharpies and a dollar store mug

6) Personalized beer glass —(scissorMill) $20

7) “If you can read this, bring me beer” socks— (Etsy) $6.50

8) Sock bouquet for the practical dad who just wants socks— (DIY) less than $10

9) Grill Master hanging BBQ tool display — (Etsy) $35

10) Engraved Father’s Day Hammers — (Etsy) $20
